What is an affiliate link here
Every tour card, every booking button and every availability widget on this site is an affiliate link to GetYourGuide, a licensed online travel agency. They carry my partner id so a booking can be attributed to this site. Ordinary links between pages of this site are not affiliate links, and there are no other advertisers, no sponsored placements and no paid reviews.
What it does not change
The order of the tours, the ratings I publish, or what I tell you not to book. The reviews rank the hop-on hop-off bus last on its own score and say so, and the Home Front Museum private tour carries no rating at all because nobody has reviewed it yet. Both of those are commissionable products. Writing them up honestly is the only version of this that works over more than one season.
What I am not selling
I am not the fortress, the Norwegian Armed Forces, Forsvarshistorisk museum or a tour operator, and I do not sell entry to anything. The fortress grounds are free to walk into and no affiliate link changes that. If a page here ever reads as though a tour is required to enter Akershus, it is wrong and I want to know: contact me.
